Continue your studies at SGLA
Considering a different programme or study format? Tell us about your current university and studies. We will explain the transfer assessment and help you compare your options.

How a transfer works
Your previous studies matter. A transfer depends on document assessment, available places and the requirements of the chosen programme.
Tell us about your studies
Name your current university, programme, year and study format. Explain what you would like to change. No passport scans are needed for this first enquiry.
Prepare your study record
Admissions will explain which study records and other documents are needed and how to submit them for assessment.
Review the proposed conditions
The Academy checks available places and completed studies. Discuss credit recognition, any additional coursework, your year of entry, remaining study period, fees and required in-person attendance.
Complete the transfer procedure
After a positive decision, follow the Academy’s instructions and coordinate the required transfer documents with your current university. Do not withdraw before the transfer conditions and procedure have been confirmed.
Credit recognition may change the remaining study period; the year of entry and duration are not guaranteed in advance. Changing subject may require additional coursework.
This is a consultation, not a formal admission application or a guarantee of enrolment.

Prepare your application.
Choose your route
Use the study guide to identify a level and subject. Ask admissions about the current intake, study format, fees and deadlines.
Check your documents
For bachelor’s, specialist and master’s admission, the published rules list identity and educational documents with a supplement, certified Russian translations and recognition documentation where required.
Confirm examinations
The rules provide for internal entrance examinations for international applicants and assessment of Russian-language proficiency. Confirm the examinations and submission procedure for your route.
See the 2026/27 bachelor’s, specialist and master’s admissions rules (in Russian), including section XIV. Postgraduate research applicants should consult the separate aspirantura admissions information (in Russian).
Clarify practical arrangements before you commit.
Study in Russian. This English guide is not an offer of an English-taught degree.
Eligibility for a state-funded place depends on the applicable grounds and your circumstances. An enquiry does not guarantee admission or funding.
Before planning travel, confirm your study-visa invitation arrangements and accommodation with admissions. Visa decisions are made by the relevant authorities; room availability and costs need individual confirmation.
Use the online enquiry form to describe your previous qualification, preferred programme and intended intake. No phone call is required. Do not include passport details, scans or other sensitive documents. The form and an ordinary email enquiry are not formal admission applications.
