Know which stage you are at.

  1. Explore and enquire

Compare study levels and use the online form to ask about your eligibility, documents, deadlines and entrance examinations. Describe your previous qualification, intended programme and intake. An enquiry is not an application.

  2. Submit a formal application

Once the applicable intake and submission period are confirmed, use an accepted submission method and provide the required documents. Ask how to check that your application is complete.

  3. Complete admission requirements

Follow your examination schedule and any further document or contract requirements. Remote examinations need specific approval; do not assume the process is fully online.

  4. Confirm enrolment

An offer or positive admission decision is not, by itself, enrolment. Confirm that the required steps are complete and that you have been formally enrolled.

Use the right submission route.

The 2026/27 bachelor’s, specialist and master’s rules list submission in person or through an authorised representative, by a public postal operator, or through EPGU/Gosuslugi, Russia’s government services portal. Ask which route you can use. This website’s enquiry form and ordinary email enquiries do not replace these methods.

Postgraduate research training has separate rules allowing email submission, with requirements for presenting original identity documents before examinations. Follow the relevant procedure: bachelor’s, specialist and master’s rules (in Russian) or postgraduate rules (in Russian).

Prepare a document list.

For bachelor’s, specialist and master’s admission, plan for an identity document, your education certificate or diploma and supplement, certified Russian translations, recognition evidence if required, and proof of funding eligibility where applicable. Confirm the complete list for your case before paying for document services.

Legalisation concerns a document’s authenticity and legal use. Recognition concerns the qualification’s educational status. These are different from the Academy’s admission decision. Requirements depend on the exact document and where it was issued; see the National Information Centre guidance (in Russian).

Prefer email?

Your next step

Tell us about your study plans.

Send a short enquiry about a transfer or a future programme. Leave your email for a written reply; a phone number and a call are not required.
