Get ready for everyday life

Find your place in Moscow.

The Academy provides help with finding accommodation. Combine your housing plans with your teaching location and study timetable.

Know where you are going.

The main campus is on Izmaylovsky Island, in the historic Romanov estate. Its address is 105037, Moscow, 2 Gorodok imeni Baumana, Building 3. For a Russian-language address, use Москва, Городок им. Баумана, д. 2, стр. 3.

The Academy lists more than one teaching location. Confirm the address for your programme or appointment rather than assuming every class is at the main campus. Check contact and visit information before travelling, and agree an appointment with admissions.

Choose accommodation with a clear agreement.

Tell the Academy your intended dates, budget and housing needs. Staff can explain the available accommodation assistance and its arrangements. This support does not itself reserve a room or guarantee a place in an Academy-owned residence.

The official admissions information (in Russian) lists Hotel Moskvich as a housing option. Confirm current availability, price, booking conditions and location before relying on it.

  • Ask what the rent includes and whether a deposit is required.
  • Check the contract, cancellation terms and how payments are made.
  • Compare the journey to your actual teaching location.
  • Ask how arrival and accommodation-related registration will be handled.

Make your first week easier.

Save your accommodation and teaching addresses in Russian, along with the admissions written-contact page. Phone (optional): +7 (495) 225-97-73. Moscow time is UTC+3. Confirm office hours before visiting.

Plan everyday spending separately from tuition: food, local journeys, phone access, study materials and clothing for the season. Check current costs for your own arrangements rather than treating another student’s budget as a quotation.

Practise Russian for asking directions, explaining a problem and making an appointment. The Academy’s Russian-language preparation can be part of your study plan.

Before departure, agree your arrival contact and review the arrival checklist, including any registration, insurance and medical formalities that apply to you. Keep your important documents organised and ask questions before an unfamiliar deadline passes.
