Bring your study plans to Moscow.
There is no single application or visa process for a continent. Start with your country, your qualification and your chosen programme.

If your documents refer to WAEC or NECO, a Baccalaureate, A-levels or a National Senior Certificate (NSC), give the exact qualification title, awarding body, country or jurisdiction and year. Similar labels do not establish that qualifications are equivalent.
Make your qualification easy to understand.
Tell admissions your citizenship and the country where your qualification was awarded. These may be different. Add the official qualification name, awarding school, university or examination body, and year. This information is more useful than a general description such as “secondary education”.
Make a separate list of your completion certificate or diploma, examination results and transcript or supplement. If you have studied in more than one country, identify the issuer of each document. Explain any difference in the spelling of your name so that document requirements can be discussed clearly.
The documents needed for admission depend on your qualification and chosen level. An examination result should not simply be treated as the same document as a school-completion certificate. Confirm which records and certified Russian translations are needed before ordering services.
Legalisation concerns document authenticity and legal use. Recognition concerns educational status. A treaty or a familiar certificate name does not, by itself, settle whether a particular document meets the requirements. Consult the National Information Centre guidance (in Russian) for your case.
Build a practical study plan.
- Choose the level. Compare bachelor’s, specialist, master’s and postgraduate research routes against your previous education.
- Prepare your Russian. Teaching is in Russian. The Academy provides language preparation; ask how it can fit your starting level and plans.
- Compare the full cost. Use RUB tuition examples, then add your own travel, housing and document costs. Include only funding confirmed for you.
- Plan lawful entry. Check requirements for your citizenship and passport with the responsible Russian consulate. The Academy supports study-visa invitations and finding accommodation; confirm the arrangements for your case.
Open a direct conversation.
Use the online enquiry form; no phone call is needed. Give your intended academic year and exact programme if chosen. Do not include passport details or identity files. The email template remains an alternative. Once your route is clear, follow the formal application and examination instructions for your study level.
